I just bought my Hummer back in February and have been planning this stereo out pretty much since I drove it off the lot. Finally decided on a 3 amp system. About the only main componant of the whole stereo that is NOT Alpine is the head unit. I went with P!0N33R based on a past history with them and price. I dont use Nav up in Alaska so that made my decition a lot easier when choosing my deck.

I'm running 2 Alpine  MRX-M110 amps, one for each sub that will be running at 2 Ohms. The subs will be the new Type "R" 12's. Going to have 2 Alpine SWR-12D4's in the back with a ported box to give me the sound I'm looking for.

I decided on the Alpine MRX-F65 amp for all the doors to give me the correct RMS watts to the door speakers all the way around. In the back doors, I kind of wrestled with whether or not to cut holes for tweeters and in the end, I really didnt want to do that so I went with the Alpine SPR-50 coaxial 2-way speaker system which should give me enough sound in the back for when I DO have people riding in the back(which isnt very often).

In the front doors I'm putting the Alpine SPR-50C component 2-way system. Putting the 5 1/4' in the stock door locations and running the tweets in the pillars between the door and windshield where the stock location is. This should pull my soundstage up front and on the dash where it should be, (or, at least I'm hoping).

I went a little overboard with the Dynamat as I covered almost all of the roof and the whole cargo area. All the doors have it on the inside sheetmetal and covering the outside sheetmetal as well.

I will post up more pictures as I get them going. I will be working on the amp rack this week and hopefully get ti finished in the next couple of days. Hopefully I can get some positive feedback and as always, any helpful tips would be appreciated! I could always use some more ideas to help my system stand out. I dont have much customization experiance but have a lot of time to work on this over the next couple of weeks. Thanks everyone!
